The village also is the site of the Rockefeller family’s opulent hilltop estate, Kykuit. The estate features gardens filled with 20th-century sculptures. Binghamton

Yonkers is a city in Westchester County, New York on the Hudson River. You can also visit the Hudson River Museum, which features collections of American art and is located in a 19th-century mansion. Other attractions in Yonkers include the Georgian-style Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site, which features presidential portraits. In addition, Yonkers is home to the Empire City Casino and Raceway, which holds horse races.
Buffalo
Buffalo is one of the most diverse cities in the state of New York. The city’s history dates back to the early days of colonial times, when Native Americans lived in the area. The French called it the Neuter Nation, and later named it the Erie nation, after the ‘long-tailed’ mountain lion. Today, Buffalo is home to a variety of ethnic groups, including Polish, Irish, and German.
Schenectady
The city of Schenectady in New York is situated in the Capital Region of the state. It was founded as a township in 1684, chartered as a borough in 1765, and incorporated as a city on March 26, 1798. It was split into four wards: the first included a compact portion of the city between Union Street and the Mohawk River, the second ward included a small portion of bouwland, and the fourth included the area known as Rotterdam.
